In the past, the commercial fishing trade in the Mediterranean Sea dominated the Maltese economy. Today, foreign trade, manufacturing and tourism are the country’s largest industries. Malta is an archipelago containing 3 inhabited islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino. Visitors stay primarily in Malta and Gozo with frequent stops in Comino. Top destinations include the city of Valletta, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the 19th-century Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish Church and the Hypogeum of Hal Saflieni — a necropolis thought to be built around 3600 B.C.

Check into the hotel at any time after 3 p.m.
1-3 p.m.: Visit the welcome table in the hotel lobby.

6:30-8:45 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
9 a.m. – 4:35 p.m.: Full-day tour through the heart of Malta; includes admission fees, English-speaking guide, lunch, 1 small bottle of water per person and transportation in a luxury bus.

• 9:20-9:40 a.m.: Visit the Mosta Dome Church.
• 9:50-10:30 a.m.: Explore the Mdina Glass, with free time to look around the factory and watch glassblowers.
• 10:55-11:55 a.m.: Visit St. Paul’s Catacombs.
• 12:10-1:25 p.m.: Enjoy a 3-course lunch.
• 1:40-2:10 p.m.: Take a guided walk through Mdina, and stop for photos.
• 2:25-2:40 p.m.: Stop for photos at the Dingli cliffs.
• 3-4 p.m.: Visit the Hagar Qim temple complex.
• 4-4:35 p.m.: Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 3

6:30-10 a.m.: Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
A day at your leisure. We suggest a daytrip to Balluta Bay (at your own expense) to explore the art and architecture of the area.

8:45 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.: Full-day, exclusive tour of Gozo; includes admission fees, English-speaking guide, lunch, 1 small bottle of water per person and transportation in a luxury bus.

• 9:45-10:15 a.m.: At Cirkewwa, board the ferry to the island of Gozo.
• 10:15-10:30 a.m.: Disembark at Mgarr Harbour and transfer to Xewkija Rotunda.
• 10:30-10:45 a.m.: Stop for photos at Xewkija Rotunda.
• 11-11:30 a.m.: Visit the temple complex, Ggantija.
• 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Stroll around Cittadella (the Citadel) in Victoria and stop for photos.
• 12:30-12:45 p.m.: Stop for photos at the stone arch, Azure Window.
• 12:55-1:10 p.m.: Stop for photos at the Inland Sea.
• 1:20-1:35 p.m.: Stop for photos at Fungus Rock.
• 1:35-1:50 p.m.: Transfer to Xlendi Bay.
• 1:50-3:10 p.m.: Lunch at Gozo’s most celebrated local restaurant.
• 3:10-3:40 p.m.: Stroll around the area and stop for photos.
• 3:40-4:50 p.m.: Transfer to Fontana Cottage.
• 4:50-5:20 p.m.: Free time to explore Fontana Cottage on your own.
• 5:30-5:40 p.m.: Stop for photos at Ta’ Pinu Basilica.
• 5:40 p.m.: Transfer to Mgarr Harbour, board the ferry and transfer back to Malta.
